It's that time of the summer! I am looking forward to watching Europe best fight it out. I have my money on France to win it all (why? I have no clue).

Looks like some good game today in Group A. Will really set the tone for who are contenders and pretenders in "the group of life"

I'm also pumped for Euro 2012. Its crazy how the groupings worked out. Group A is fluff, while every other group looks to be very tough. Really interested to watch the Group B games.

Im expecting Poland and Russia to get out of Group A. Hopefully we see some goals today and not have the typical first round of games jitters that we saw in the World Cup.

I think I can catch the second game today but I'm more looking forward to see the games tomorrow, Germany vs Portugal could be pretty entertaining even though I expect Ronaldo to underwhelm again.

All five of my European nationalities - Italy, Ireland, Germany, and the two host nations Ukraine and Poland - are all in the tournament. Plus, for some stupid reason I also cheer for England. Lots of soccer to watch.

Those yellow cards were very weak, especially the one that got him sent off.

As much as it benefits Poland, I agree - his two yellows were weak. Didn't mind the ref showing the yellows for the players getting in his face, even though they were feeling screwed, especially on the missed hand ball in the box (it was unintentional as he fell down on the ball), but you have to have more decorum than that.

GO POLSKA!!!

Not watching...but sczesny needed a good run of games to gain confidence back for club soccer....hopefully they get to knockouts now

Poland looks like crap this half. Especially considering they have had a man advantage.

wow, I expected poland to get at least one more goal in the second half. Their fans have to disappointed and the Greeks elated....
