NBA: Playoff Time

Pittman threw what seemed like a pretty blatant elbow that hit Lance Stephenson in the neck. But at that point in the game, I think the refs just wanted to ignore it.

Pittman will be suspended for Game 6 for sure but does it really matter? Seems like a decent chance Haslem will be out too.

If Heat lose two players they'll probably suspend Spazborough too so it doesn't look one sided.

Uh, it matters if you're last surviving member of the Fab 5! Say hello to

Game six is going to be a bloodbath unles the league comes down hard on Haslem, Pittman and probably Hansbrough. I thought the refs let things get out of control last night.
If Haslem draws a suspension, I like the Pacers to extend this thing to a Game 7. Larry Legend called them out last night, and rightly so, for playing soft the last two games. I don't think it'll be a problem tomorrow night.

Not happening. Game 3 woke the Heat up. Unless the Pacers shoot about 60%, which isn't happening without a healthy Granger and West anyway, they aren't winning. If the Heat can run, they won't be beaten. Their defense is too good and it creates a lot of easy points.

That pass LeBron made last night was one of the best passes ever made.

I liked the Pittman foul. I liked Howard getting in Stephenson's face before Game 4. The Heat need that edge, they're better when they're playing ****** off rather than feeling sorry for themselves like they seemed to be doing earlier in the series. Indiana didn't have to play Stephenson, I'm sure no one on their team was surprised when this happened.

LeBron has snapped back into Cleveland LeBron mode. This is what he should have been doing the whole time in Miami, continue to be the most dominant player in the game, don't worry about stepping on Wade's toes.

Heat-Spurs or Heat-Thunder would both be fantasitc finals.

Well if the Pacers arn't going to get this done(even though they had a great chance to put the Heat away) I hope Boston does. IMO I think whoever wins the Spurs vs Thunder series will win the title. In no way are the Heat or Boston going to beat the Thunder or Spurs. The East sucks this year.

Do you have a way to really back that up? I'm not saying the East will win because I don't think they will but I'm not going to say they can't compete especially if the Heat are going to play like they have the past couple games. It seems they have changed their whole attitude.

I just kind of look at the past. LeBron really does choke in big moments. I don't know why he does, but he does. Wade seems worn down at times. Miller's back is hurting him. Bosh is hurt and to be quite honest the injury he has takes FOREVER to heal. So when/if he comes back he won't be 100%

And what happens when he sin't worried about stepping on Wades toes? Wade becomes better. LeBron (to his credit and discredit) is incredibly unselfish. When he is being dominant it makes everyone else so much better. When the Pacers coach was asked about stopping the Heat, he talked about LeBron. Teams are gearing up to stop him. You can't. There isn't a way to stop LeBron if he is in full-go mode.

Does he? I mean does he really or are you taking only the times he has choked and using that as the only evidence. The Cavs were a great team because of LeBron and only LeBron. No one else was carrying that team past the Pistons. Have you watched the past two games? "Choking" is not just final shots and crunch time free throws. It's poor performance under pressure and IMO, he has had the pressure cranked up since he entered the league. Again, the days with the Cavs. He carried a whole team to the finals. He scored the last 31 points of a game to win it. He has hit huge shots. Sure, he has missed them too but so has MJ. So has Kobe.

MJ and Kobe still have rings. Like some other people were saying on here I don't think LeBron has the "it" factor in crunch time in the playoffs or finals.

That's all I've been saying, but the LeBron fans in this thread label me a "hater" for saying it because I don't cheer for Miami. I disliked Miami before they had their pre-championship-championship-rally, why am I "hater" for not liking them now?

It wasn't the two missed free throws in that game they lost, every amazing player misses clutch free throws at times, it was the fact that those two free throws were his only time trying to score in the final four minutes of a playoff loss. That is VERY un-MVP like and the only thing about his game that's not MVP like.

He still was an eyelash from a triple double in his 40 point game, the more he goes for it on offense the more they'll dominate. When you're the most talented player in the history of a sport, the stats are gonna fill out whether you defer shots down the stretch or not. LeBron is too talented and athletic to ever be a player where he scores 40 and the rest of the box score is empty like we've seen with some other prolific scorers.

If he's in "take charge" mode on offense, having Wade by his side alone is enough to keep teams honest and win a few titles. If they actually fill out the team around LeBron and Wade to its full potential (which could mean shipping Bosh at some point) and they stay hungry, they can even challenge to deliver on at least part the 8-peat hype they created. He's that good.

Not to be mean, but I could look up these of MJ or Kobe too....of them in the Finals. I hate arguing about this because some people are so stuck on Lebron being the greatest of all time. I don't hate Lebron as a person but he's very arrogant on the court. He ******* at the ref every time he fouls someone or think he gets fouled.

How many rings does Kobe have without a great player around him? Zero.

Yeah, you could, but I'm not saying those guys are huge chokers or that LeBron is better than them in crunch time. I also didn't say he was the greatest of all time. He can do things no one else in the game could do, but he isn't the greatest of all time. 95% of NBA players do what your last sentence indicates so I don't know what your point is there.
