Its good to see that people have moved on from Harrison and are not bitter at all...
would not surprise me if the over-hyped showboater did exactly this. HB's life peaked on skype in ames high.HB is encouraging all UNC fans to wear carolina blue to the dean dome this week so he can skype david stern.
Greg McDermott in an ESPN interview prior to Creighton's NCAA games admitted he did not want his own son to play in the type of program he had created.
The article was ignored here because we were all wrapped up in ISU/UConn but he basically admitted a ton of mistakes and that he wanted a better situation for Doug.
Given all that and that Doug and HB were teammates, how on Earth can anyone be mad he chose Michael Jordan U?

Links to the article were posted. I know I read it.
1. People SHOULD be incensed at McDermott for creating a program he didn't believe was fit for his son to play in.
.
. . . closer or further away after that fiasco of a performance?
Or is Karma coming back to bite him again?
For every "hes from Iowa and I support him" there is an opposite. Just the way it is. Neither is wrong or right. I didnt lose any sleep over him leaving, it made sense to him to go and thats fine. I wont support his decision, but I respect that its his choice. He right now may be suffering a bit from the hype and the distance he is from the comfort he had here. That stuff can absolutely play a role in performance.
There aren't enough facepalms in the world for this amount of stupid.I don't think he wil make it in the NBA.

I don't blame HB in any way for choosing to play for North Carolina. I mean, it's tough to turn down a top-shelf program like that, especially when our program was in such poor shape.
But I do have a tough time forgiving the way HB made his announcement, big-timing his hometown fans like that. It was a smaller, more local version of the LeBron James announcement. Nobody would begrudge a press conference and for him to have his moment, but to throw the doors open and invite everyone then Skyping Roy Williams...that's just a shameful thing to do.
