Last night before the game i locked myself in the bathroom so i could shave, deuce and listen to Sweet Caroline on repeat. And also to get away from my gf
I can't stand that either. Unfortunately, my wife almost always does this type of crap. She's a huge cyclone fan but for whatever reason doesn't really enjoy watching away games on tv. It absolutely drives me crazy to watch cyclone games with someone who isn't paying attention.
Drives me nuts! She will always say hey what are you doing tonight, i say watching game....Shes like oh awesome im gonna come over and watch and then she doesnt watch a second of the game. either be involved watching or stay out. I dont even mind if you know nothing about bball and ask questions the whole time, just pay attention.
currently on spring break just started 20 minutes ago, I dont really want to go home so i might just stay in ames for a few days
I enjoy listening to STYX. I think Come Sail Away is one of the greatest songs of all time. There I said, I finally have it off my chest.
Amen. I know it has no real effect on the outcome of the game, but it feels like when someone I'm watching the game with isn't paying attention, then the clones are playing without passion.
I think that is the official notice that it is time to stop. I have had this happen twice.

See this doesn't bother me, but my gf was playing words with friends last during the game, and asking for help. I don't care that you don't want to watch the game, just don't try to bother me during the game that I'm trying to watch.
I'm meeting the girlfriends parents tonight. They're both military folks. Before I leave to head down to Des Moines, I'm loading up on Imodium so I wont take a dump the entire time I'm down there. I dont have a fear of pooping in public, just a fear of pooping at parents' houses because sometimes I really get into it and just savor the moment. Pooping time is a sacred time in my house.
I listened to the new Bruce Springsteen album on Spotify the other day on the way home...and liked it. The lyrics are way to political and its really pretty crappy writing, but I really dig his voice and the tunes. Thats my guilty confession of the day.

to all of you complaining about how your significant other watching Iowa state Athletics or any other sporting event. it is SOOOO much better when Females are not around. they have no idea what is going on. and they cheer at stupid things, and ask why do you get so upset?

I was watching last night in our bedroom, two of my boys and wife were in bed, I was in the recliner. I look over with 5 min left, and they are all asleep. One of my boys is a Texas fan so I was happy he was out so I would not have to deal with the gloating.
I am meeting my girlfriends parents as well this weekend. As a 23 year I have met more than my fair share of parents, but being as for some reason I really like this girl, I am quiet nervous about it. :unsure:
Took one of my daughter's fruit rollups for a snack this morning. Wow. It has been way too long.
Also, I am cheering against the hawks with all my might this morning. I want ISU to be the only team from the state in any sort of tourney next week.
