I hope this announcement from the PAC doesn't erode too much of OU's leverage. It really is in the best interest of the entire league to make things more equitable.

Good news...for now. But what if the decide to next year?

I think we need a large increase in exit fees otherwise this will continue to pop up.

Thats the thing... OU can say 'do this or we're leaving' and Texas can now say 'oh yeah, where?'

If OU really was trying to use the PAC as leverage, it just lost a lot of its cards.

Thinking about it more, while OU might have a harder time with the 'do this or we're leaving'.. the rest of the members now can vote in changes knowing Texas doesnt have an option out west.

My guess is OU lost its leverage earlier today if not sooner and Texas probably knew that. OU may not get everything it wants but after all this I can't see Texas not giving ANY ground. Something has to change.

Mizzou and these SEC rumors is the next domino to fall.

Or perhaps Texas is going to give in on OU's and the rest of the conferences demands and PAC 12 is first to break news that OU and co. aren't coming now?
