They should have classes based on population. Hard to argue with Ottumwa among larger towns, but who could argue the per capita craptastic merits of a Lehigh or Hamburg or Little Sioux?

Being from Fort Dodge, and merely looking just a little ruff around the edges had its advantages state wide back in the day. It meant going to party in Ames or Des Moines 10-15 years ago gave you a pass with not to many folks wanting to give you any trouble.

Mason City deserves some recognition, although it's no Fort Dodge or Waterloo.

I swear 95% of the adult population of Mason City is on crack. I've worked retail in both Mason City and Waterloo. I found dealing with the drugged up idiots of Mason City was more difficult. As for Waterloo, at least the east side of that town needs to be on that mountain.
