From that article discussing the Pitt offer it sounds like this kid's recruiting could explode if he continues to hit the outside shot. Also sounds like some schools held off because he was injured part of last year.

Despite a report by NYCHoops I Haven't committed to Iowa St.I remain open in my process and looking forward to the summer recruiting period

Some of the other schools might be better teams right now, but we have the advantages of getting in on him first and the players seem to really connect with our coaches/recruiters.

If he waits to commit until later in the fall maybe we will have played some games by then and he can see that we are a program on the rise.

Ya, Pitt offered him. I remember everyone had given up on Okoro once they did and I didn't understand why. We've been his leader since January and the staff has been going after him hard. I didn't think we'd let him slip away.

I am happy to say I was wrong on that. Very happy.
