Panther Sports Network

That + the Zapruder reference sets you up as Poster of the Day.

Thank you! Thank you all so much!!

I'd like to thank Chris Williams for giving Cyclone Fanatic to all of us as a means of expression.

I'd like to thank my fellow nominees. You push me to be a better poster every day. I respect the hell out of you guys!!

I'd like to thank my family for raising me in the sarcastic environment that you did. Without you, I'd never have turned into the smart-*** that I am today. You guys are the best!

(music starts playing)

I'd like to thank my wife and kids for all the support you give me at home and allowing me to waste as much time on the computer as you do. Without you guys standing behind me, well, I suppose I'd be surfing more p0rn.

(music getting louder)

Oh, I feel like I'm leaving so many people out. Thanks to my internet provider and that dude that built my computer. Umm, thanks to my high school and college composition teachers. Umm, I need to appologize to my boss for not being more productive this morning. Umm, oh this means so much to me. Thank you again!

(hot chick escorts me off the stage)

So.. it's on mediacom, its just panther nation?? I specifically remember it being on MC22 but presented as "panther basketball". Is this not the case?
I'm not sure how many times this needs to be repeated in this thread, but it is NOT on Mediacom. It is on KWWL (out of waterloo) or KCWI (out of des moines).

If I remember correctly that would have been before UNI was with Learfield Sports.

Anyway I just thought of all things it was odd to see all the ragging about PSN. I've watched several of the ISU games this year on mediacom and dont see a difference to PSN.

nobody is saying medicom is the benchmark but I dont think there is much difference in actual video quality in any SD program.
The last couple of times watching PSN, it's been an obviously misconfigured broadcast. I don't know exactly what it was, but something wasn't right. It's like it was upconverted/downconverted/digitized/analogized multiple times, once with a half-shorted coax cable with the shield half stripped and running parallel to a power cable.

Take a nice shiny new blu-ray movie, use the blu-ray player's composite (not component) output into a VCR, hook your 1982 TV up to the VCR with a coax cable tuned to channel 3, and then use your 1993 (analog) video camera in long-play mode to record the TV. Now play that recording back on your 55" HD TV.

It's something like that.

With the way my girlfriend gives me dirty looks every time I am on CF it might well be porn.

LOL!!!!!!!!

Obviously not ESPN production but first home game against Coe looked decent I thought. Out of curiousity was your last PSN viewing on Cable or OTA?

In other news as a dual UNI/ISU fan I have no idea what to expect out of this game. I can see anything from ISU cruising to UNI cruising and everything in between. Hope it's a good one.

For those that have direct tv and full court the game is on #725 Wednesday. I would thjink the sports bars to have this.

Are you freakin serious?

Some of you are complaining that the game will be on regular tv? Oh my god!! A Iowa State game that EVERYBODY can see??? HOW HORRIFIC!!! Are some of you puppets of the evil mediacon which only a tiny percent get? Pollard has sold his and ISU bb's soul to them. I want to add that it is so sad and barbaric that BY FAR MOST Iowans will be seeing the team for the 1st time Wed. That is a OUTRAGE!! I cant believe how backwards and outhouse like that is. Dec 1 will be the 1st time the vast majority of the state can watch ISU. Pathetic!! Only like 3 games will be on in Dec too. Is this 1970 or 2010?

Facebook(ISU Basketball) says its on Full Court and Facebook never lies. A bonus I was expecting to hear on radio

The real question is, whose cameras will be used to record the game? Will they be shiny new ESPN cameras, or will they be the kind that gets dug out of the pile from their spot next to a boom box and an 8-track recorder?

DirectTV subscribers don't need Full Court to get the game. They can watch it for free on channel 23. It's listed on the guide. I've already set my TiVo!!!
