The former players laughing and making fun of the situation are the ones embarrassing themselves. The level of maturity and respect they are showing is an embarrassment. I'm glad they are no longer part of ISU.

Probably would have been better to state something like:
"Dude, you are still here at ISU using the practice facilities every chance you get and probably running into players -- and friends -- who aren't leaving and like it here. Fans supported you here. What you are doing is not cool -- not cool at all. I realize you are still a kid, so I will cut you some slack. When you grow up and become a man, you will understand how classless this really was."
maybe you should post that then, instead of telling me what i said was wrong. Which is basically what i stated when saying i felt for guys like jamie, scotty, laron, bozzer, but yet you laugh at our situation.
And maybe you should step back, take a deep breath, grow up a little yourself and take a lesson on how to be tactful. I said the same thing you did, only in a different way.
You would think that $3.3M ($800K buyout paid to ISU + $2.5M buyout not paid out to GMac) to the basketball program would do something to heal those hurt feelings.
I guess we should all put our personal hurt feelings aside and look at what is best for ISU BB.
I really don't understand why anyone has personal hurt feelings anyway to begin with.

Yeah... I am sure the coaches at the schools they are transferring to would be really impressed with these kids. They probably thought they were getting men to play in their program but all they got are *******. That being said I can tell you one thing about all of this that pisses me off the most... These kids liked ISU enough to leave home and play ball here. The one reason that could make them hate it as much as they obviously do..... GMAC. End of Story.
Unless we get a new great coaching staff soon, he improves loads over the summer to be an NBA prospect and gets drafted :wink: Anything is possible. it's not like he's a horrible player, just not NBA material currently.
NO. everyone knows you have to be drafted to play in the NBA. No non-draftees allowed.
