NFL: **** NFL draft thread *****

I love the people who ignore Tebow's shortcomings and fall back on the "He knows how to win" mantra. You know who else knew how to win? Eric Crouch. What's he up to these days? Tebow may very well end up being a good NFL QB. I have my doubts, but it could happen. But he's far too big of a project to be worth a first round pick.
Exactly. Also take into account he played in Urban Meyer's system with the best players in the nation and this is a major major question mark.

Man, the Pats love their DB's. Didn't they take defensive backs with their first two picks of last year?

I'm going to call Sergio Kindle to either the Dolphins or Jets in the next two picks.

Vikings could still get Jared Odrick from Penn State, too. He'd be a nice DT.

I think Tebow will surprise, but Denver may be a bad place for him because they need help immediately.
No they don't. Orton played well last year and they have a solid backup this year. I see you're a Bulls fan too, nice win tonight.

Us denver fans won't go down quietly, will be an interesting season at invesco feild next year.

At the very least, it's looking like you won't have to worry about a 2nd half collapse for a 3rd year in a row.:jimlad:

Thanks, big win for the Bulls. I don't expect them to get the series, but not being swept is nice.

What I mean is that I don't see Orton there for 3 more years as a starter giving Tebow time to develop. I don't hate Orton at all and think he is a solid guy, but figured they might be looking to get a stud in there quicker. If Tebow gets to develop at least 2 years, I could see him being pretty good in the right place.

i just pray that for some reason tebow becomes a winner in the nfl, and we can look back and call josh mcdaniels a genius.

so, maybe Minnesota trades down here?
