My honest opinion(without hearing Ham's side)...Ham's a product of culture change with college basketball. Players want to play first, then win second, but if you don't win, they want to transfer. I understand wanting to win...there just isn't a lot of toughness there, when it comes to being pushed to get better.
So, are you saying Ham's not tough? He played through a hernia but isn't tough? Is this the same as 'not seeing what the fuss is about' (note--not a direct quote) when referring to Boozer a couple years back?
On another note about players wanting to win. When a coach tells you to keep doing this or that, and we'll be better; then you end up not being better; don't you lose some faith in the guy coaching you? I think it is probably hard for coach to get players to buy into what he is teaching when there aren't any results (wins).
By the way, I do appreciate your posts, and my intent is not to rip you apart--I just have questions. I sincerely appreciate what you bring to this board, I'm just looking for more insight.
