Hamilton Possibly Coming Back

Brackins grabbed the defensive rebounds because that is where most of his rebounds came from

Yes and Ham often had great opportunities for offensive boards from the weakside after the defense rotated to help out on Brackins. About 10 or 15 games into the season a light came on for Ham and he was way more aggressive and started to really go after and get offensive boards... believe he led the Big 12 in O rebounding.

Hamilton came to a hasty decision after his frustration built up on a lot of things (break-up w/ gf, wanting more touches on offense in the paint, injuries, disappointing seaosn as a team, etc.) and now he is reconsidering his quick decision.

Hamilton is now the top recruit on the board for us! Please stay Ham!

No one could have said it any better!!!!! We have a lot of time invested in him.

Hamilton and Colvin are the diamonds/jewels on the team right now, we need to build around them.

I would love, love, love if Ham came back. Biggest recruit we could get from this point going forward, imho. Come back Ham!

Hamilton Coming Back would be Huge

Hamilton's game has shown continuous improvement during his time at ISU. I can see how he would be frustrated because the coaches only seemed to view him as a defensive stopper and rebounder. IMO they didn't do a great job of running plays to get Hamilton shots this past year.

IMO Hamilton could be an all Big 12 player by his senior year. You hate to lose kids with that type of upside. I've seen posters saying he made his decision & not wanting anyone on the team that isn't committed to the program. I think we need to remember he is a 20 year old kid- so he'll make some rash decisions. Second, even before he stepped foot in Ames he was dedicated to get his weight up so he could contribute his freshman year.

Would love to have him back. I was really disappointed when I heard he was leaving and would have no problems accepting him back (hope the current players feel the same).

Come back Ham! We need you and you seem to be improving under Greg!

Can we please quit referring to these guys as "kids." Young adults, 21 year old adult, etc but they aren't kids

I was still a kid when I was in college and I had a kid of my own. I think despite being 21 and legal for all intents and purposes they are still kids.

Man, I am 23. You would refer to me as a kid if you saw me outside of work. At work is a different story, but I am still a kid. Immature at times and irresponsible at times.

Don't lose that. That is when you start to get old.

Seriously....for those of you questioning whether to let Ham back if he wants it..... Why would you not want a kid like that back and be a little sympathetic towards him?? He plays his *** off and we should welcome him with open arms if he chooses to come back.
