I was just getting ready to come in and post this thread.

I think that if this situation is proven to have occurred, David Stern will ban both players from the league for life. Stern has been trying to remove the thuggery image from the NBA ever since Ron Artest went Ron Artest back in 2004. He will make a strong move to show that this type of thing will not be tolerated.

I never thought of Arenas as a thug... Doesn't DC have really strict gun laws?

They do, but even more than that, the NBA does not allow firearms of any kind, loaded or unloaded, on the premises of any NBA practice facility or arena. They were investigating this to begin with, and I'm betting suspensions were coming down anyway.

Whats the problem? They were just expressing their 2nd amendment rights.

If proven, they'll be doing a few years.. if you trade for arenas in your fantasy league right now, youre getting trade-raped. Says Arenas put 3 guns on a chair and told Crittenton to choose.. he must watch a lot of westerns..tryin to set up some kind of duel.. what a moron. His NBA days are over.

Everyone is getting this story confused. It was a new NBA promotion to "Get guns out of the lockerroom". I think it sends a great message to the public that the NBA REALLY wants to clear up their image problem. On a side note, next week the NBA is starting "Where's Daddy", a promotion to re-unite sons with their dads. I would tune to hear all the heart warming stories, but I got to go make my money.
