ISU in home uniforms?...

For the first (and maybe only) time, I agree with Cycofan1. I loved those uniforms.

use these with with a black plain no name top
I'd heard about these uniforms but hadn't seen them until now. I thought they sounded totally awesome -- but I don't like them. It looks like -- stylized effeminate camo. I think it's the stretchy pants.

I may be the only one who has this opinion but I actually quite like the "dog bone" unis we had in 2000 and 2001, probably because I associate them with successful seasons and some of my favorite players: Sage, Seneca, J.J., Ennis, Reggie, etc.

I am all for throwing back a few while in phoenix. wait what were talking about?

How about the 2005 throwbacks with the old whirly bird cy logo and ketchup and mustard colors?
Ha!

I do like the idea of "throwback" uniforms to match our last Insight.com bowl appearance (and victory!). Perhaps a bit more cardinal, though. But bring back the helmet logo (punching CY, I believe). Maybe?

I really like the uniforms we wear now. I say we stick with what got us here.

Personally, I am not a fan of any team's uniform that combines the top and pants as the same color. I don't know why, but it's never been a look that appealed to me at all. I think the worst uniforms we ever had were when we wore red on red. Still to this day, they make me cringe when I see them.

I didn't mind the jersey's themselves, but hated how the pants and the helmet didn't match at all. Just looked very thrown together, like a high school freshman football team... leftovers.

Jack Trice throwbacks anyone? It would be cool to do against Minnesota since that's where he was injured.

I agree completely on the same color top and pants. Don't like the look at all. Only time I've been "okay" with it is maybe when teams wear all black but other than that not a big fan.

I like our uniforms we have now, they are a heck of a lot better than what Mac's teams wore.

Lemme guess - the same people that are ripping on the same color jerseys and pants are probably also the ones that are so enamored with the Texas, Alabama, and/or Penn St's all-whites. And don't start with the "well, that's different" argument - both the jerseys and pants are white, right? Well, guess what - that means they're the same color.

I wouldn't mind seeing is go all cardinal every once in awhile, like for a bowl game or a special game (like Cardinal Rules or the Iowa game), but not nearly to the extent that we used to.

^ He left out letters in uniforms (form) so the apostrophe makes sense there. Think of it just like when you leave out letters in contractions.

cannot -> can't (left out "no")

uniforms -> uni's (left out "form")

70's probably doesn't need the apostrophe. It should probably be 70s.
