Barnes Decision at 3:10 on Friday

My take on this situation -

1. Where there's smoke there's fire. From reading other credible sources on this forum and others, I tend to believe the final two are N.C. and ISU.

2. The fact that his decision is being nationally televised at the Ames gym and that refreshments are being served afterwards means nothing in concerns to which school he will choose. Nada, zero, zilch.

3. Good God I wan him to be a Cyclone, but I think N.C. is just to hard to beat out. The tradition, the coaches, the players, exposure, the higher % chance to win a national championship. Eff the tardheels.

4. I would freak out if he chose UCLA or OK. Haha! NOBODY would have seen that coming.

5. This is the most fascinating experiment in human message board behavior ever. I've never seen a subject get so may impassioned people so vocal about a subject in my life, outside of religion and politics.

Go Cyclones.

Zero. If he doesn't go to Duke, it will be mass panic for weeks (especially if he goes to Carolina). If he doesn't go to Carolina, their fans will say that Adonis Thomas (2011 recruit) is better and that they didn't need him, actually they've already begun saying both.

The Carolina "inside information" is that evidentally Roy Williams told Barnes a month ago that he wouldn't eat a cookie until Barnes committed to UNC. They're saying that because Barnes is serving refreshments after his announcement, that somehow ties back to that statement by Roy Williams. And these types of rumors from "sources" have been coming out from Carolina people for weeks.

Yeah, I dont know if "wrong" is the word I'd use. I used the words "sad" and "awkward".
Which makes me think he is coming to ISU. ;-)

What? Talk about reading too much into press release formalities. That is quite a stretch...even more so than the whole "public announcement" kind of thing.

That's just one of the many WILD rumors that have been coming from Carolina "sources" of late, it's a joke.
 
My daughter texted me as she was behind him at lunch today at the AHS cafeteria and he couldn't decide what he wanted.
 
In all seriousness of this thread, I have to go back to what I saw last Friday night. Harrison smiled when Bubu was sent into the game. I am going to infer my own conclusion and use this:

HB is going to be on Soundoff on Sunday Night ... Murph and Andy says it doesn't mean anything but we all know better. Go Cyclones and Go Harrison!
 
So, how does this work. Does Harrison have Letter of Intents from all the schools and he will just bring one and sign it? Did they all give him a hat in advance, so he can put it on?

He will have to bring a bag in to hide it all.

Does anyone know how this aspect works?

Just a verbal commitment at this time I believe.
 
I asked and someone said he is signing the LOI. He probably has one from each school or a generic form to write in the school's name, sign, and fax.

Why would he need to fax it????...I'm 100% positive someone will give him a ride after the refreshments over to the BB Offices and he can just hand the form to Mac.
