Bison Football

Yeah, this small guy that is starting for the Eagles at middle linebacker played football at NDSU two years ago. You cyclone fans make fun of NDSU like a bunch of 2nd graders, but I believe it only masks your underlying concern of getting beat on Sept 3rd. Maybe its only a 5% chance, or as much as a 25% chance, but wow wouldn't that sting if the Bison won.........

Why do you bozos keep bragging about how we should be afraid of players who no longer play for NDSU? Is it supposed to scare us? How do you feel about facing Seneca Wallace & Troy Davis? You know you are going to get blown out by ISU; once that's over we can concentrate on playing real teams and you can go back to playing directional and/or vo-tech schools.

I may be wrong, but really this has nothing to do with it. I legitimately think that ISU will crush NDSU. If we don't, frankly tailgating season starts.

If we can't beat NDSU with ease, there is not another team on the schedule that we can beat.

I attended every home game and watched every road game last year -- for the last many years actually -- and I have no delusions about our talent level or ability to compete in the Big XII or with better teams from the MAC, MWC, etc. But NDSU? This game is nothing but a glorified scrimmage.

I don't think the Bison will be treating this like a scrimmage. Keep on glorifying yourselves. When the game ends up being much closer than you ever imagined I am sure you cyclowns will have all sorts of excuses.

Hopefully your still around to give your great input after the beating. Dont be goin and disappearing on us now.

can't make a point without lowering yourself to the hawkeye level? Should we make up 'funny' names for the bison?

That fact that a "closer" than expected victory would be cause for ISU fans to be concerned is a rather telling statement about NDSU. The fact that you are such a passionate fan of such a program is admirable.

Don't worry, I will be back to give my review of the game, tailgating in Ames, etc. Seriously, hope to meet some of you guys tailgating.

Just seems deserving to some here that degrade NDSU like they are nobody. Even for a new FCS program they have done quite well. Don't expect anyone here to say NDSU is a good team, but calling the program DII all the time is BS.

Inferiority complex, heh? Why would you possibly come to another school's site and worry about what they think (or in this case, don't think/know/care) about your school? Get outside, breathe some fresh air, maybe interact with actual humans. It'll do you good.

They are 1 year removed from D-II and they went an amazing 6-5 in the FCS division last year. It isn't degrading it is just simply stating the facts.

If you had been here very long you would know that ISU fans actually usually treat opposing teams fans very well. SDSU had some fans on here that were treated well last year. The difference is that some of you bison fans came over here and started talking a big game and talking about how bad ISU was. Basically... like trolls. If yall had come on here and started a friendly discussion, this would be a lot different. Also a tip: if you EVER use "cyclowns" in a sentence, you are forever a troll in most peoples eyes around here.

Also, given that at least one of you are even banned by your fanbase's own sites... why should we treat yall better than your own fans do? If it were me i woulda gone nuts with the banhammer a couple days ago. Then again, i suppose i should be glad it didnt happen, because once i realized that if you read lakebison's posts like they were coming from TwitterTracker they became hilarious, and this board became much more entertaining.

At first I figured Lakebison was just some rogue, nut job of a NDSU fan who came here to drum up some conversation about the only meaningful game NDSU will play all year. Then, one by one, other delusional NDSU fans keep appearing on this site, wondering why we can't find it within ourselves to become fearful of the Bison.

One thing you will quickly learn about Iowa State fans is that the majority of us are realists, and have come to terms with the fact that we are not an elite Big 12 team at this point. With this being said, excuse us for being a bit more nervous against the likes of Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.

NDSU will be the worst team we play all year, period. We will beat them, and you will go on to and play the rest of your season and no one outside the state of North Dakota will care how well you do. You may win a few games, and maybe even knock off a BCS team once in a while, but still, no one outside the state of North Dakota will care. You may even do so well as to one day make it to the FCS Finals, and play a game televised on ESPN 2. Some people may watch that game as an intermediary before bowl season, involving teams that matter...but still no one will care.

Go away, all of you, and only come back if you want to discuss hockey or something, a subject you may have some level of competency about.

You may win a few games, and maybe even knock off a BCS team once.

You should have ended the sentence there. NDSU's best team ever beat Minnesota's worst team ever by 6 points. NDSU had never beaten a BCS team before and has never beaten one since.

+1
Exactly finally a man of reasoning. True they probably will be the worst team we play this year. Hopefully we can get it done and walk out winners, IF NOT, KISS OUR SEASON GOOD BYE AND HOPE AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR
