Our offense will be what let's us down, not our defense. But there is absolutely no way you guys put 40 plus points up on us. 28-7 or 21-0.

So you're saying NDSU's defense is better than most of the Big XII defenses we faced? Ok, sure.

Giving our offense off the games vs. Baylor and Nebraska since our QB had a shoulder strain, our offensive average was 28.7 points. So you're saying your an average defense we faced? Wrong. You're saying your defense was better than UNLV, KU, A&M, Kansas State, or Colorado? I HIGHLY doubt it.

Furthermore, Youngstown State, Southern Illinois, Western Illinois, Northern Iowa, Missouri State, and SDSU have better offenses than we do (all put up at least 21 points) than we do?

But we've never played you so you can't use head to head competition as your barometer. That's not how the head to head comparison works. Again, just because you beat a team that beat us doesn't mean ****. But if that's what you think gets you there, more power to you. I assure you, we will be a very different team than the SDSU team you faced last year. At least defensively. We may not score many points against you, but you will not put up 40+ points on NDSU just because you put up 40 something on SDSU. It doesn't correlate.

Usually a good way to compare teams is against common opponents. We pimp smacked SDSU and they ***** slapped you. Any rational person would see that as a bad sign for NDSU.

minnesota and central michigan fans all said the same thing we are saying in this thread and NDSU managed to knock them off... we cannot overlook them, but i will say this, that was when they were #1 in the FCS... they've lost a bunch of starters and their QB situation is up in the air. We will likely win this game, but I guess that is why they play the game... man i hate games like this, it's a lose-lose for FBS teams
