Anyone on here that says they wouldn't take a sure thing $7MM bag is lying to themselves. Of course he should w/d from the draft with that money awaiting him, it's life-changing dough, and there's no guarantee he'll stick in the NBA. Take the money and have fun--just don't play against the Cyclones.

I’d certainly take the money. But I would also do so with the realization that I’ve burned the bridge back to Ames in the future. That’s the loss in all this transfer stuff. We’re losing the connection to players to come back in the future to be welcomed back as Cyclones.

And if I took the money and had a game scheduled in Hilton, I’d also expect to be booed and criticized for being a traitor. But that’s what comes with being a mercenary.

Goes both ways. We get to claim guys like Jayden Higgins and Josh Jefferson. Just the college sports world today.
Yeah, but we developed those guys into pros. They weren't that when they got here. Momcilovic is basically developed already.

Be interesting to see if some of the Audi haters will keep the same energy for another offensive star who is a defensive liability and cant make it to the league so went bag chasing.
this isn’t even comparable. I’m not sure you can say defensive liability when one of them REFUSED to give any effort on the defensive end and wasn’t a good teammate because of it.

I think I’d rather he goto Arizona, actually.

f*uck Kentucky & Louisville.

St John’s seems scuzzy but he’d be pretty much removed from our area and would play in more of an NBA type place.

But I like AZ
Yeah, I hope he goes to a place like Arizona so that it makes it even less likely we win a Big 12 championship. (Sarcasm)

One of them was an All American. Milan's defense is bad enough he can't get drafted in a league where Niang lasted for a decade

Hell, Audi choked FAR less than Milan in the tournament.

Audi / Rocco / Milan: they're either all bag-chasing non-Cyclones or they're not. but you can't pick an choose because you hate women.

Iowa State fans have been through the absolute worst and still supported this school and defended these players. So there's a part of me that hopes he absolutely fails at Kentucky. I'm not going to root for a player that chased the bag and makes 8 mil a year while he couldn't make a shot when it mattered in the tournament

Nobody on CF has given up anything close to 3 million dollars out of loyalty to ISU, and nobody would. Just stop.
