NBA: *** 2025-26 NBA Thread ***

Wait, I just found out the Celtics lost a game 7 at home why wasn't that breaking news with like alerts and everything.

So, I went and checked box score after Garza talk.

8 minutes and 3 fouls is nothing to sneeze at.

Tatum-Brown are playoff chokers except for one season when everyone else was injured.

The team is just poorly constructed. Too many wings and not any real post presence or real point guard. Even when Tatum is healthy they all want to play the same position.

You don't need a lot of construction to jack up 40 3s a game.

Shortly after Banchero's Orlando Magic lost 116-94 to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday in Game 7 of their playoff series, he was asked if they have enough talent to win in the NBA.

Seated on the postgame press conference stage, Banchero hesitated before answering.

“I want to say yes, but this the third straight time we haven't gotten out of the first round,” he said. “So if you are going off the last three years, the answer is no. The nice answer is yes, but honestly speaking, I can't say we're good enough to be in the finals or the Eastern finals, because the last three years, we've had the same result.

It works OK with Tatum and Brown, but really tough to have that much money tied up in two wings. But not sure cutting Brown loose would’ve gotten them close value at another position. Holiday was looking washed last year, but he was big in past years.

Absolutely hilarious with the front of the boat.

The Russini-Vrabel thing is America in a nutshell, she's insta-fired and he goes to "counseling".

We treat journalists to a higher standard than professional coaches and really anyone. There’s very few industries left where credibility matters and even journalism is few and far between at times. If she had worked for ESPN or any other organization that sold their soul to greed, she probably would’ve been fine and maybe even promoted for her access.

Wolves tied at half with Ant begging for minutes saying he’s fine and McDaniels on the bench with foul trouble.
