Tell that to the Stanford wrestlers!!!Coincidence that Tate decided to stay?
Not saying he’s the answer but that’s rare that guys stay after entering.

They knew what they were doing!!Tell that to the Stanford wrestlers!!!
Always possible that guys enter the portal after the U.S. Open.So lineup is as follows
125 - Smith, Rin
133 - Grice, Pearson, Rin
141 - E Frost
149 - J Frost
157 - PJ, K Naak,
165 - Euton, Riggins
174 - MJ
184 - Bartelt, Naak
197 - B Thompson
285 - Merrill
I know there’s other dudes through out the roster that could make a run at the lineup but I feel like this is the future lineup.
I wonder who else Metcalf might try to add, or is the portal season coming to an end for ISU?
Willie said on his show today that Rojas committed to CMU but changed his mind. He insists he wasn't wrong!!I saw in a reply to Willie that it was funny that he committed to CMU while he was on visit to Wyoming
If true CMU can’t be happy about it.Willie said on his show today that Rojas committed to CMU but changed his mind. He insists he wasn't wrong!!
A lot of unknowns in this version of the lineup. So lineup is as follows

To me we have some good options with Grice and Pearson, both showed to promising. It’ll be interesting to see who takes the spot with other two arriving.A lot of unknowns in this version of the lineup.
125 & 133 - I like the upside of Smith and like what we saw from Grice but this heavily depends on development (Pearson & Sokomoto included)
141 & 149 - you know exactly what you’re getting from the Frosts. Tough 7 min matches, feels like both are BR/low AA caliber AT LEAST. Maybe Paniro tries 49?
157 - you know Paniro will be in every match if it’s him, just hope he finds another gear offensively. Kane Naak the wildcard here.
165 - Euton had some wild variances last year. Can consistently beat anyone outside of the top 15 but got beat handedly by the top guys (Lockett, Ruiz, Blaze). I do confidently think he’s a 10-18th type guy currently but maybe he finds another gear if he stays healthy.
174 - If MJ can continue to wrestle with discipline like he did at times in March he’s definitely an AA threat again. Continue to get stronger and more consistent, but he’s one of those who you kind of know what you’ll get (as wild as some of his matches are).
184 - Definite unknown here currently. Bartelt or Tate Naak as it sits now (assuming Thompson goes 97?).
197 - After looking at lineup currently, maybe it would be best for Thompson to try to make 84 and let Floyd go 97. Assume Floyd improved over his RS year being in there with Rocky and Thompson is talented. Still relatively unknown what we’ll get here.
285 - I THINK Merrill is an immediate AA threat but obviously that’s easy to say now and tough to predict that from a true freshman heavy.
I never wanted something so bad as to Paniro to find his offensive.A lot of unknowns in this version of the lineup.

Really only if there are some surprises after the openSo do we still expect more additions to the team through the portal??
Wonder if Sealy is considering a change at all?
Said the same thing in the US Open thread after he beat David. Being a room guy your whole career at PSU can absolutely not be more fulfilling than becoming an AA somewhere else. I'll die on that hill.Wonder if Sealy is considering a change at all?
I’d imagine there are some teams that would be interested in him after seeing what he did against Carr.Wonder if Sealy is considering a change at all?
I'll die on that hill too, couldn't agree more.Said the same thing in the US Open thread after he beat David. Being a room guy your whole career at PSU can absolutely not be more fulfilling than becoming an AA somewhere else. I'll die on that hill.
Whose our 197 from App State again that RS last year...he was a NQ year prior...are we pretty high on him or think this Cochran moves the needle more and faster?
