Pardon me but I can't be enthusiastic with anything espn does or says these days. ESPN tried to destroy the B12, almost succeeded. The story is still ongoing as to 'succeeding' or not. Joe Lunardi may be a nice person but he still works for espn. Who cares what he (or espn) has to say?

And this is especially disengenuous, "The ESPN Bracketology team never sleeps. Bookmark this page for regular offseason updates as we monitor transfer commitments, NBA draft entries and withdrawls along with other news from the now 32 conferences -- welcome back, Pac-12! -- that comprises the 2027 NCAA tournament field."

I don't think the now G6 Pac 12 Conference feels "welcomed back" to anything but a near death experence. They are now on life support. Oh, and again, this is partially thanks to espn.

And "the now 32 conferences", but really only the P2 means anything. We bow down. Thanks for being a large player in ruining college athletics, ESPN.

ESPN. the Lifegiver to the SEC and B1G, Dr. of Death to all other conferences.

Missouri State? wtf

So we can schedule a quad 4 neutral site games against Missouri State but Drake and UNI are off the table?

And before anyone comes at me, I’m not saying we should play the instate games. But why play this game but not the instate games?

I'm saying it. Let's play fun games, this is entertainment after all.

Watching our team blow out 7-8 bad teams isn't fun and I'd rather risk losing a seed line to play more competitive games.

Would Missouri State have been a Quad 4 this year? How about Drakd and Wichita State? I honestly don't know.
