Not that I really want to argue this, but I'll make the case since things are slow today.
There are 360 schools in NCAA Division 1 WBB. Divide the 360 by three to determine High D1, Mid-Major and Low D1. Nevada is in the Mountain West, which was the sixth-rated conference in 2025-2026, with average NET Ranking of 117.5. Average NET ranking of 117.5 for the conference is at the bottom end of High D1.
For reference purposes, the Mountain West was a higher ranked conference this season (average NET Ranking) than the MAC or Atlantic 10, where our two shooting guard portal signings are coming from.

Rice was 29-6 last season, won the American Athletic Conference and lost to Kansas in the WBIT Quarterfinals.
FWIW, KU lost to BYU in the Semi and BYU lost to Columbia in the Final.
Rice returns 3 of 5 starters from that team, including Conference Player of the Year - Victoria Flores. Team started the same 4 Guards and Center in 34 of 35 games.
Senior Center Shelby Hayes averaged 28 MPG, 12 PPG (.505) and 6 RPG.
Two other centers on the current roster, a 6'6 Swedish Freshman (no stats) and a 6'4 Sophomore. The sophomore played 8 MPG, averaging 2 PPG and 1.3 RPG, with 73 fouls in 35 GP.
Coach Lindsay Edmonds gets periodic mention on up and comer lists - five years at Rice after a successful stint with Wes Moore at NC State.
All three have one year left, which seems expected if CBF was seen as being in his last season. May hinder two year players coming aboard,

What's the point of signing a bunch underclassmen, when Bill's contract expires on June 30, 2027? You are signing players who know they are commiting for one year and letting the next coach start clean.
I don't think we've seen any news on Tanke either so Audi Addy Hare and Tanke are the last 4 to sign somewhere
one of these threads shared that Tanke was going to Nevada
Per on3 the only players left in the portal unsigned or us are Kinzie, Addy and Audi.
All players are one year players under current transfer rules.
