From an ISU perspective hopefully he returns. But he has an ELITE skill that the NBA covets as much as any. The equivalent of being a lock down corner or unstoppable edge in the NFL. I will not be shocked if he ends up finding his way into the late first round after wowing some teams with workouts. Several teams that pick at the bottom of the draft would be thrilled to add a shooter like him to there already established roster.

If he comes back I would guess it’s to show an improved handle and bucket getting.

• Drafted Yes, NBA No, G-League Yes. Or
• Drafted No, NBA No, G-League Yes

Milan would just need to find a friendly judge. Maybe ISU's new President needs to add a Law School.

Yeah, 2nd round is a crapshoot unless you have a team that tells you that they definitely want you. There are a ton of guys who are talked about as 2nd round that never get drafted.

That and guaranteed contracts. 1st rounders have a min guarantee based on the slot.

And he’ll also hear more on what part of his game needs the most work.

2nd round is a crapshoot in terms of going rate, theres no guarantee they make anything.

Hines is a known idiot. Milan is going to test the waters and get feedback. This has been in the plans for months and he'd be dumb not to.

I honestly don't remember for sure, but didn't we all say the same last year, and he never actually did go thru the process? His injury may have played a part in that too.

Busse gets this quote from Milan more than two weeks ago, then sits on it for all this time and finally posts it today as an exclusive, breaking news story? The problem is Milan is not going to improve his draft staus staying another year. Hes already proved his shooting ability. His limitations are his athletic ability which is not going to take a leap in one more year of college. An NBA team will sign him this year knowing this.
Between him being another year older, being maxed out when it comes to being the best shooter at this level, along with now other teams doubling him off every screen next year I feel the correct move will be for him to go pro. At worst he's going to get a 2way contract.

I want the clones to be as good as we can be and that is with MM on the roster but have to be proud that this program keeps producing pro talent.

There's no doubt he has improved every off-seaon. I'm sure the staff and Milan believe that they can improve something this off season as well. Likely not his athleticism, but maybe his ability to get open and work thru screens.

It all depends on where they land and how it goes with the team. Some second rounders get a two-way deal and never catch on in the league, some sign four-year deals with a few million guaranteed.
