Returning players

I just can't see Milan getting all that much playing time in the NBA. He would be a liability defensively... and offensively he's basically only a spot up shooter that can't create his own shot, and also does not seem to be able to get himself open without the ball very effectively either.

Kyle Korver?

He should do this. Getting feedback from the NBA has zero downside.
I just assumed this was an automatic. Anybody can do this if they have the resources to go work out for teams.

If the feedback is 2nd rd or undrafted I don’t see how you possibly go to the draft rather than cashing an NIL check. It makes way more financial sense unless you just absolutely hate college.

I don’t think Milan is Kyle Korver. If I remember correctly, Korver was pretty active at getting himself open without the ball, but I could be wrong?

Milan is a better shooting Payton Sandfort, but Payton actually was more effective at getting himself open without the ball IMO. And Payton is in the G League where he belongs. Payton was also a liability on defense.

I don't have much confidence in next years team. If we can't beat a decent team without Jefferson, and we're also losing Lipsey it may be a long year
Right here today, I'm saying TJ will have this team back in the Tourney next spring. It is what he does. Hell go ahead and start crying about FB that is the next major sport on the calendar.

I'm the one that likes the new football coach. You're the one who can't get over Matt Campbell. I'm surprised you haven't filed a civil lawsuit against him for emotional damages

Batemon was quiet against Tenn, first game remember him having trouble finding good shots but seems he has a lot of potential to be a scorer
I think most freshmen hit a wall(slump) at some point. Batemon hit his in March. Toure hit his a little earlier but came out of it in March. Both of those guys will be great going forward.

LOL you DF go find one post where I whined about Campbell leaving. My checkbook isn't big enough to effect coaching searches and NIL payment/player selection that is why I stay out of those threads for the most part. If you are worried about BB losing 2 players you sure as hell ought to be worried about the turnover that the Fb team had. If JR gets FB to .500 this yr I'll be happy as hell above 7 and that'll be a giant success in my book. I think he'll be a good coach he just had a really blank slate to start with, luckily he does have a heck of a field goal kicker to start the season with, find a good punter and they could win quite a few games on field [position alone.

Good for Milan. Hope he gets valuable feedback.

This is such a deep class. I think it’s more likely he still returns vs go pro, but he is smart to evaluate what pro scouts are looking for out of him so he can fine tune his game next season

He 100% should be doing this, I’m far from an expert but I think he will get feedback that will steer him to coming back for a 4th season. If he decides to stay in the draft I hope he gets taken as high as possible, only good things for the program when you’re cranking out NBA talent year after year
In this new era, I wonder how coaches budget rev share though. Meaning, they need to be hitting the portal....do they earmark money to not spend in the event Milan comes back?

Oh yeah. I've said multiple times TJ has done a great job. I know this program isn't getting passed the Sweet 16 though.

I think he'll be back, but Im not sure he is going to improve a whole lot. I think he's pretty close to his ceiling at ISU. Might get better development in G League or at the end of a bench for a couple years. Just look at how Georges didn't really refine his weaker points until he was in the league for example.
