TJ has gotten to the Sweet 16 consistently. It took the best team Iowa State ever had to get to the Elite 8 which was a practical home game for the Spartans.

Michigan is Tennessee but 10x better
Name me a coach that could have overcome that size discrepancy with their best and most physical player being out. It had nothing to do with them being ready to play.
Sweet 16 remains our ceiling and they’ll be lucky to get there next year… but hey, hip hip hooray for another Sweet 16 appearance, am I right?!

Oh I see, coaching causes players to miss free throws. I’ve never seen a coach get credit for his team being a good FT shooting team but it’s their fault when they are not.
They make all their throws they lose by 4.
Getting killed on the boards cost them especially offensive boards
They only put up 51 shots as a result. Throughout the season 60 shots was a benchmark for wins vs losses for the most part
A lot of luck is involved and we never seem to have it. If it was all based on effort this team would be in the final four. Yeah God hates us for some reason, but we'll get through it.

There’s a significant portion of the fan base that’s just happy to be there and if you lose at least you made it, that’s a problem and a hindrance to taking the next step, today should piss people off but for a lot it won’t
