I wish Tamin could've gone out with a deeper run in the tournament.
His jersey will be in the rafters as soon as it's "eligible."

The Otz era and Lipsey have gone hand in hand. Gonna be very strange to not see him on the court next year.
Loyal son forever true, he fought the battle through, and when he hit the line, he hit it hard, every yard for I S U.
Can’t wait for someone to put together a montage of all the “Tamin” plays
Ejim will always be my #1, but Tamin deserves every bit of what he will ever get from the city of Ames, the state of Iowa, and Iowa State populous. Loyal, 3ever, TrueTo me, Tamin stands alone as the greatest Cyclone of all time. He is 1 of 1
It was a tough swallow to see him walking to the locker room in tears tonight. To me, Tamin stands alone as the greatest Cyclone of all time. He is 1 of 1
He’s on a very short list of guys. Arguably the toughest Cyclone to ever put on a uniform. And with all the injuries he suffered throughout his time here, he barely missed any games.Has anyone ever worked harder or given more? His legacy will still be felt in the years to come, as those young guys watched him do it and the standard has been set.
The best part about it is those guys above laid the foundation for Tamin. And Tamin laid it for who comes next. There won’t be another Lipsey, just like there won’t be another Niang or a Monte, but the next guys we will love just as much but differently.I have SO many favorite Cyclones in recent years (Niang, Haliburton, Morris, Thomas, Mitrou-Long, Christopherson, Hogue, Kalscheur, Jefferson, etc.) but Lipsey is RIGHT up there and embodies this Otzelberger era (so far).
Melvin Ejim will always be my guy that is the epitome of what a Cyclone basketball player is...
But DAMN Tamin Lipsey is an absolute warrior. He is guaranteed to be successful in life, because adversity is nothing to him. He gave us EVERYTHING he had.
Thank you Tamin. It was a pleasure watching you and cheering on your career!
