Yeah they lucked out. Tomorrow (scheduled off day) think it is suppose to like a High of 38 in the Wrigley area.I usually whine and moan about the Cubbies opening at home, especially in March with the the potential colder than hell weather, but it's not a terribly bad weather day at all and lookin' forward to seeing what the boys can do. LET'S GO CUBBIES!!!!!!
Admittedly an Ian Happ hater, but what possible rationale is there to Happ hitting in the 3 spot?

No idea why Horton isn’t throwing opening day. That was an awful game.Boyd getting torched this inning.
Yeah other than Wood & Abrams I don't know if I even knew who the F the rest of those Nationals players were. OUCH Boyd.Pitching was abysmal today. 10 ******* runs to one of the worst lineups in baseball with the wind blowing in.
And you managed to give up 3 dongs!
I guess giving the Veteran Boyd a gift I suppose. No idea why Horton isn’t throwing opening day. That was an awful game.
I think he didn’t want the added pressure on Horton plus with the shaky weather he wanted him Saturday where he could assure an uninterrupted start. April is probably going to be up and down until CC figures out who he can count on. Right now if we needed a quality start I’d take Rea over anyone other than Cade.No idea why Horton isn’t throwing opening day. That was an awful game.
