Arizona is in the Sweet Sixteen for the 3rd straight tournament and the 23rd time overall. They are 11-11 in the Sweet Sixteen. Their last Sweet Sixteen win was in 2015 vs Xavier. Arizona is 4-2 as a #1 seed in the Sweet Sixteen.
At this point, Oats can have the pick of the litter with ANY open jobs in a couple weeks
Exactly. I’d rather them lose but can’t imagine how them winning could ruin my day like some people. We face a six seed to go to the Elite 8 for the first time in 26 years - that will get my full attention this week. Not what Iowa does.
I don’t really consume local media, outside of CF stuff, any more because I think it generally sucks so I won’t even hear much about Iowa this week.
I’m not a Florida fan at all, and most definitely not a fan of Golden, but I don’t have to listen to their fans all day every day…. and ISU very rarely has to compete with Florida for recruits in anything either.
Iowa winning at anything is NOT good for ISU…. period!! I can’t believe how soft and nice ISU fans have gotten on Iowa? Is it just because we beat them in nearly everything now! Well…. that won’t last if we don’t keep them down!
I want to watch the game, but dislike UConn/UCLA SO much, tough to watch.
Maybe it's time to clean the bathroom.
I think the most annoying thing about UConn games is that the broadcast team makes the broadcast about Dan Hurley just as much as it's about the players. Just constantly talking about him.
They’ve now made 1 sweet 16 this century. So I’m not sure it’s fans being “nice”, more like indifferent.
Upsets happen…even Jerome Tang made an Elite 8. Once Iowa loses Stirtz and with their recruiting class, I’m not too worried about Iowa going forward because we’ve established ourselves as a perennial Top 10 team. Iowa is an 8th place Big 10 team that had a nice upset in March.

Big 12 really faded as the top league but injuries for both tech and byu changed their seasons.
As bad as the sec has been they still have two title contenders left and then Tennessee and Texas.
Big ten is just dominating right now. No argument there.
The big 12 only hope to save some reputation is going to be winning the whole thing. If houston can get by Illinois they may have the best shot
