Exactly. They would have to be a historical anomaly to make the national championship game, based on Kenpom rankings, which is where they would meet Iowa State. I won’t say definitively that it won’t happen, but I’m as close to saying that as I can.

Its all on your head. When you get older and ditch "fanaticism" you realize how sick in the head you once were. I have no doubt Iowa may be a bigger story but the reason is Iowa wasn't expected to be there.

It's in no one's head. Only a doucher suckeye would say something that blatantly ridiculous. The media in central Iowa has been begging for 30 years to hyper slob on suckeye basketball in March.

I think I'm most bummed to see a Cyclone fansite troll using Dedric's name. My favorite Cyclone of all time.

Growing 'older' in central Iowa constantly reinforces the fantanticism, e.g., the suckeye slant that permeates everything and everywhere on every airwave or media account. It's a virus. suckeye fandom is a virus. And now the virus lives on another week. That factually sucks.
