So Nebby won by 2 points. Anybody remember that blatantly obvious double dribble by the NU kid on the breakaway dunk??? Refs really hosed Vandy there. Just a terrible job by the ref to either not see it, or just not wanting to call it due to the hostile, boo every call fans of NU.

No…. just spit balling here because I honestly didn’t get to see as much of the game as I wanted to. But spending enough time on various message boards I’m sure if it went the other way any half assed Nebraska fan could point out six or seven calls that they would currently be blaming….its the nature of fans. Just like it’s the nature of rivals to try to explain away a team they didn’t want to win.

Really wouldn’t surprise me if Iowa loses by 25 points

Not really going out on a limb here are you… I mean hell you are an ISU fan, that’s what you want to happen. I’m an Iowa fan and certainly consider that a very real possibility. ;)

In fact, I’m semi surprised they’re only a 10 point underdog

Purdue is in the Sweet Sixteen for the 3rd straight tournament and the 16th time overall. They are 6-9 in the Sweet Sixteen. Their last Sweet Sixteen win was in 2024 vs Gonzaga. Purdue is 0-2 as a #2 seed in the Sweet Sixteen.

I honestly do not care for Purdue in any sport… And I generally root for Big Ten teams in the postseason and I guess I’m rooting for Purdue but man they do win a lot of games just not the final one

Feels like travels don't get called as much anymore in college basketball.
I saw one the other day where the guard received a pass at the top of the key, then slowly walked three steps, left-right-left, and came to a stop looking to make a pass, all right in front of a ref, no call.

Anywhere…. and it’s pretty much irrelevant at this point in time in the NBA and the WNBA….

Accept for the travel they love to call 25 foot from the basket, which I swear more often than not wasn’t even a travel… they love calling that and I’m really convinced it’s not much of a benefit but hell what do I know?
