Weird stat I have never thought about. Mark Few has lost the final game of his season 27 straight years. Always forget either you win it all or end the season with a loss

If you feel led to do so, I won't complain. Seriously, it is just a passion for me.Dude, I feel like I should send you a check for a couple hundred dollars… This has been awesome. I appreciate your Stream of information.
2011 VCU (Made Final Four)@HoopsTournament, I was wondering how often a team that was in the first four advances to the sweet 16. Texas did it this year but it feels like it happens every year with at least one team.
Is there a reason Tennessee is -1.5 against Virginia? I haven't followed closely but was expecting the 3-seed to be favored.

Depends on Iowa State's fate honestlyWill you be big mad if it happens. I just need to know so I can decide how much effort I want to put into rooting for Iowa or Nebraska either one.![]()
I have been a tournament fanatic my entire life. I have watched every Selection Show since 1983. (First one was in 1982). Before the information was readily avaialble, I bought a tournament history book and created a database of every tournament game. I then built a website and have redesigned it completely twice.Yeah, I get it… I’ve actually spent the last several years of my life trying to deemphasize sports and stats and unlimited sports knowledge. That’s why I appreciate somebody like you that still has a passion for it….
I’ll tell you an obscure story. When I was a younger dude I used to buy the Ottumwa courier, the Des Moines register & the USA today just to read the sports page in study hall, pretty much all three years of high school… I didn’t do a whole lot of studying…That’s of course back when you could buy all three papers for a buck 50…
Hell I used to be able to tell you every NCAA champion in men’s basketball and football, the NBA, baseball, the NFL going back almost forever. And then when the Internet rolled around and fantasy college football was a big thing in the early 2000s I used to play about 10 college fantasy leagues multiple NFL leagues and a myriad of pick’ems…..At some point in time as my kids were turning into athletes in their own right, and I got older and even more emotional. I got to the point where I decided I can’t waste all of my time watching and researching sporting events and even worse crying when my favorite team loses or hell even wins ….doh!!!!
So a guy, “me” who used to watch college football until midnight… And basketball games pretty much every night throughout the season I’ve really become a passionate yet pretty reserved sports fan.
In fact, I probably watch more Women’s Basketball now than anything else lol. The Caitlin Clark effect…
But I still enjoy random statistics and information and that includes history, so if you’ve got any sort of random facts about the middle ages, The Ming dynasty or an ancient Egypt, you can lay those on me too lol

With that being said, I watch very little college basketball and football outside of the tournament. I go to about 150 high school games/events a year, so there are times where I just don't want to watch sports when I am at home. My passion is high school sports. I plan my vacations around high school sporting events.
