JJeff Injury Updates

You can do some crazy things with ankle sprains with tape, brace, others medicines to get through games. Mostly seen in football without as much lateral requirements, but can go from unable to walk barefoot to playing a sporting event. Never say never but do what’s best for JJ.

He couldn’t walk off the court, he’s done. I’ll happily eat crow if I’m wrong but a sprain like that is 3-4 weeks recovery at best
10 years older than Jefferson I tore ligaments in my ankle landing on a foot. Couldn't put any weight on it at all the next day, couldn't walk for a week, turned all manner of blue purple and black that eventually worked its way down to my toes. The first day I could walk on it that week later, I ran a 5K. He has much better support and treatment than I had. He might be done but it's not necessarily true.

Dude is on crutches right now. Ain't no way he is playing on Sunday. I would be shocked if he is ready to go next week, either. If we somehow advance to the FF he might have a shot.

I’ll happily accept, will need elite rebounding and guard play against a lengthy Kentucky team. Would of loved playing Santa Clara with or without Jefferson

Santa Clara is 98th in team total rebounding and was outrebounded by two, in a game that went to OT

So you have no idea, got it!

Deandre Kane literally got carried off the floor at the end of a game on a Saturday in Norman, and played 37 minutes and scored 21 points against KU 2 days later.
I was at that game in Oklahoma sitting behind the ISU bench. Looked like Kane was done for writhing in pain. You just never know. Athletes are tough and resilient. We’ll just have to wait and see

But did you run under 13:30 for that 5K?

1 advantage if JJ doesn't play or is severely limited it changes our whole offense. Milan at the 4 and we play 4 out and 1 in. More focused on 3pt shooting but opens up lanes to the hoop.

Cue the defibrillator, aka Colonel Nathan R Jessup.

I don’t think that is the type of boot you can walk on real well so it’s either crutches or a wheel chair.

My favorite part of CF is that we have experts on every single topic here, and miraculously they’re always the same people.
It’s the reason you come here…

You may not like it…but you need it…
