I'm usually terrible when it comes to March Madness brackets because I overthink it, but this year is different. I only got two wrong so far - BYU/Texas and McNeese/Vandy. Feeling good about my picks for tomorrow.
Whiffed on Wisconsin, Georgia, UNC, and South Florida myself. None have been what I would call bracket breaking so far as I had all of them falling in the Ro32. Hate when I get cute picking upsets, because I always pick the wrong ones. Louisville being the only 6 seed to survive an 11 seed so far is case in point.
I went 13-3 today. Missed on BYU, South FL, and Troy. I didn't really think Nebraska would lose, but me and my bracket wanted the streak to continue.

Upsets is where I usually struggle too, until this year. McNeese came up a bit short for me though. My brother told me I was crazy for picking High Point to make the Sweet 16 haha.
So, I'm not a big gambler. A bunch of my knucklehead friends have spent the first week of March Madness in Vegas for many years. I've always declined to join them because I didn't want to skip work two weeks in a row because I always spend the prior week in KC at the Big 12 tournament. Now I'm retired, so no more excuses. On a lark, I bet 20 bucks on a parlay for both High Point and VCU to win outright. I cashed out $215 on the ticket. Life changing money? Of course not. But it was pretty damn fun. I've probably got a monkey on my back now. What's that phone number? 1-800 something off....?

There were A LOT of bad defensive teams yesterday. It’s almost weird watching them after 5 years of TJ. I said several times “how can you be this bad on defense” but then forgot that was our style under Fred. TJ has spoiled us.

I had Wisconsin in the sweet 16 in a couple pools but that's my only real blemish as of today. I still feel like the 1'2 and 2's are just so strong and the Elite 8 is gonna be real chalky.

This right here is what college sports is all about. Give me an alt cast of this guy doing their next game. We have the technology to do a Spanish audio version, why can’t we have the local broadcasts overtop the video without having to go through the hassle of synching up a separate audio source?
