I can't believe how many of you are unwilling to give TT props for how well they're shooting/playing. They're putting on a clinic. It isn't always about how bad we're playing.

They are hitting WIDE OPEN shots for the most part. Our game plan apparently involved helping off 40%+ shooters on the perimeter. It also apparently involved not playing their Momcilovic the way they're defending ours.

They can be playing well with significant assistance from complete incompetence from the coaching staff.

Toure 0-6 shooting with at least 1 airball. No points, rebounds, steals, blocks, or assists. Quintuple bagel. Nelson can’t be any worse than that.

Are these guys just worn out? Their movements without the ball are telling a tale. Not keeping up with their opponent on defense, always a step behind. Not working hard to get open on offense, just standing and watching someone dribble. This is not typical Cyclone basketball.

what is with TJ and getting blown out at home? For as good as our home record is, I can’t figure out why the losses are big so often when we do lose.

They're undefeated at home. Their play at home hasn't been the issue until this game.

Are we unable to just man up on defense? This looks exactly how the games against 3 point heavy BYU teams have looked over the last few years. Tech clearly gets that all they have to do is hit a few skip passes and they'll get open looks from 3. This D just does not work against teams that move the ball and shoot 3's well. You'd just think at some point we would try to have literally anything else to fall back on in these matchups.

Buchanan is horrible

Not nearly as bad as Toure today. Guy can’t score and has given up a ton of points on defense.

I think conference play is showing why Toure wasn't more highly recruited. Just can't make shots.

They definitely aren't the storyline, but they are letting a lot of contact go on Tech when we have the ball.

I get it, but our defense is helping them out in looking so good. Well coached teams that shoot and make 3’s, pick it a part.

They are only 44% from 3. Good but it's not like that's a historic half

A lot of it is on Milan. Dude is so passive. He is hesitating off screens when the shot is there to be taken.
