*** Official #16 Texas Tech vs #4 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

That seems high to me. Vegas must know something we don’t. That’s good news for ISU though because that screams TTU and the points.
Tech has not played a full game without Toppin on the road.
The 1 road game they lose him with 6 minutes left, and they lost to one of the worst teams in the league

Our guards will give Anderson problems. If Anderson cannot go off Tech is limited in scoring.

Toppin is a great front line player, those guys give ISU problems. no Toppin is worth a couple of points for sure.

Sharp money pouring in on ISU.

That said does somebody on Tech have the flu, I see 10.5, that is a big big swing from the opening line... When I see big jumps, I get the feeling some news is forth coming.

There is no reason for Jefferson to not get cooking this game. He needs to take over and should be near triple double territory.

Thanks @CycloneRulzzz !

Gonna get some home cooking and fried tortillas.

Lipsey has two home games left and I look for him to out-Lipsey himself…leaving it all on the floor.

No answer for our pressure (TT had 17 turnovers at AZ State)

We will be raining 3’s today from everyone maybe even Pleta.

Texas Tech 66
Iowa State 82

Most years we have a bad loss at home, we haven't lost this year at home. Is this the game or is this a year we go undefeated?

What's your definition of a bad loss? Tech's at least good with or without Toppin.

Last year was a terrible game vs. KSU although they did go on a heater for like 3 weeks and knock off a bunch of ranked teams before coming back to Tang ball. BYU was just plain good.

No losses in '24, limited teams in '22 and '23, well, showed their limits.

I define a bad loss were ISU plays poorly despite being at home.

Sample size of 1 but ran into a Tech fan at lunch that was quite pessimistic about the game and felt the line was about right
