AS much as it pained me to want KU to win (threw up a little in my mouth typing that) it's better for us. Now we have more control over our own destiny.
I could not do it. I was rooting for a tie. Which I know can't happen. I tried to root for them and it just was not in my power. I honestly looked at Arizona's schedule to try and find some other losses just so I didn't have to root for Kansas.

I didn't cheer for Kansas. If there was a way for Zona to lose and Kansas to destroyed, that would have been great.
I was cheering for Arizona. I don't care what the implications are, even if it benefits ISU for them to win, I just can't cheer for KU, especially not in Adidas Fieldhouse where they're constantly gifted free points.
I planned on watching it, but it started at 9pm Eastern time and I evidently fell asleep at the start and missed the whole game. Saved me some emotional trauma.
ISU now needs to beat KU soundly. The NCAA selection committee would love nothing more than put KU in St louis and bump ISU out of the region.
I wanted zona. Figured a loss by KU gives space between them and us to get the double bye. Packed too tight and I don’t see us going unscathed the rest of the way.
Anyone else feel a sliver of happiness that KU won without Peterson? Kinda sick of that guy being a diva at this point and I'm far from a KU fan.
I never feel happiness when KU wins, maybe if they were playing Iowa then okay, but I'm also tired of the Peterson Rodeo.
I have a feeling Bill Self is too.
We could still end up in St Louis with them, we'd just be in different regions -- so we wouldn't end up playing each other
I just hope our crowd is as hostile as that one was last night....Hilton can be a consistently top tier environment.....just show up to the game and be LOUD....do not wait to stand until something happens...make an impact before something happens
I just couldn't root for KU. I'm fine with the result but I couldn't root for that program so I was quietly watching hoping for UA to embarrass KU and then stumble next week.
But I have to be happy with ISU's situation now. They once again control their own destiny. I can't imagine ISU will go through the gauntlet ahead unscathed.

KU helped ISU, which made me happy. Now the Cyclones need to take care of business tonight or last night won't have really mattered.
Then put them back in their place on Saturday. (And I hope Peterson plays.)
