***Official portal tracker thread***

This, lottery, sports betting tax, increased taxes by 75 cents, donating kidneys, selling beer in the stadium and controlling sales of alcohol outside in the tail gate lots.

All of that equals multiple national titles and millions of dollars.
All are good ideas, except for controllong alcohol outside the stadium in the tailgate lots. I think that would be a massive buzz kill. CyTown has the opportunity to create a solid revenue stream, if it is used correctly outside of gamedays.

Not upset about Rocco leaving, I never understood the fanfare for him. He was a mediocre QB, he played hard which I appreciated but he sucked this year. He doesn’t have an NFL future so I can’t blame him for getting a bag while he can. What’s funnier is watching Campbell bring a bunch of players over in favor of existing 5 star players PSU had. Also running Grunk out in favor of Rocco is so stupid. He has 3 more years of eligibility and looked good down the stretch versus a 1 year Rocco who will inevitably have a few 3 INT games and lose against Rutgers or something stupid.
I think Rocco makes sense because he knows the offense. Manske also knows the offense, but would think he will be competing with other quarterbacks that may not know the offense yet.

Looks like Oklahoma St is trying to load back up. They have a pretty decent transfer list on paper so far. Snagged one of the top QBs

It’s interesting that Campbell played Rocco knowing that Rocco was injured and not at 100% and yet he chose not to play Manske during the Cyclones losing streak. How much faith does he really have in Manske? Why did he put Rocco at risk by playing him while he was injured?

Oklahoma State has 60 players in the portal. Eagerly waiting for X posts from pols & how that university can't survive today's current landscape.

Otherwise, the average for teams having a HC change looks to be in the neighborhood of 30 players, give or take. A fair number of new entries to the portal happened this weekend, too, so patient programs may benefit having spots for later entries. With this in mind it would be prudent to keep our powder dry as well.

60? They are gonna beat us

Still hoping (HUGELY) for DeAndre Carter & Braden Awls
Some new potential candidates put on the tracker:

OL | Gavin Broscious – Michigan State offensive guard Gavin Broscious visited Iowa State on Jan. 4. As a redshirt junior in 2025, Broscious played in all 12 games, starting four at left guard.

WR | Evan Boyd – Michigan State wide receiver Evan Boyd will visit Iowa State on Jan. 7 according to Allen Trieu of 247Sports. As a sophomore in 2025, Boyd had three catches for 54 yards. Prior to Michigan State, he had 302 yards as a freshman at Central Michigan. The 6’3 receiver is visiting Purdue on Jan. 6.

TE | Carter Moses – University of Albany tight end Carter Moses is set to visit Iowa State according to 247Sports. In 2025, Moses had 26 catches for 321 yards and two touchdowns. The 6’5 product visited East Carolina on Jan. 4 and is also expected to visit James Madison and Kansas.

Oklahoma State has a head coach that was on the brink of College Football Playoff bid, they have the #1 RB in the portal committed in Caleb Hawkins, the #3 QB in the portal committed in Drew Mestemaker and the #11 WR in the portal committed in Wyatt Young. Oklahoma State has the #2 portal class as of right now. I wouldn't be waiting on pins and needles from X posts from their fanbase discussing their inability to survive in today's current landscape.

I’ve been trolling some pedos on X about how happy they are to overpay our coaches and players from lowly Iowa State. And how I imagined MC is over paying out of loyalty.

He posted this and then deleted it.

I think he’s full of ****…and it’s clearly bothering him. No way Matt took a $4m raise and isn’t paying at or above market for our guys.

Everyone who visits this site is a client. You don't get paid with online advertising without traffic. If you don't "pay" for this site through actual exchange of funds, you do so with your attention.
Get off your high horse about who is a client. It just shows you don't know how this economy works.
If you don't like the product you are probably welcome to not visit.

Moberly was hurt. He wanted to preserve Manske’s redshirt.

If PedoSt wins the Big 10 next year with our coaching staff and our starters, what does that say for the Big 12?
He is basically putting our 8-4 team from this year in the B1G next year.
How would the national media spin that, I can only imagine.
Honestly, I could see Penn State making the conf championship with their cake schedule and facing a team like Indiana and getting completely outclassed. Kinda like us in 2024 against ASU.
