Personally, I'm really excited to see how ISU's 2025 roster does next year with a big ten schedule

They can put to rest the theory that we can't compete in the big ten.

While CW definitely has feelings about dudes he's worked with for a decade, he def needs to turn his attention (not sure whether he has one way or the other). Could just be stress rather than mourning. Not sure how his efforts are tied with the AD exactly so if he has to find his own path to connect so he can deliver what he's accustomed to, that'd be stressful. Not sure if the University greases that path or not. If CF could flounder because the new guy doesn't like him, that'd be a problem.

All the more reason to be a journalist / ISU fanatics group leader and get over your man crushes from the past.
This will hurt his cred with the new administration, causing him to lose communications with them and not provide something his CLIENTS want, causing them to visit less and make his advertisers send him less money.

Put on your big boy smile, get behind the people who are choosing to be here through the end of November 2026 (you can't ask for anything more than that anymore) and get on to making money by living your ISU dream. Otherwise, I see campbellfanatics.com is available.

Keep in mind that MC can and will recruit over the players he takes with him next year, because he has the financial flexibility to do so. Loyalty only buys so much. I can imagine many of the players that are not seniors headed east will be in the portal next year.

I just got done watching the CW/Blum podcast from earlier today. CW seems so disinterested compared to Blum about portal season. I can’t imagine CW is still grieving Campbell leaving right?? It’s time to buckle down and really get into it now. Kids are committing and visiting. Time to be positive and try and spread positivity within the fanbase and CF. Let’s go CW, get with it!!!!

For those critical of Campbell bringing in all the Iowa St guys, the stated expectation in Happy Valley is a NC. How many, especially guys like Sowell, are at that level?

I think the seniors will be fine. There aren’t a lot of better options. But the underclassmen, do they really think they’re going to have a spot long term? They’re either getting recruited over or Campbell isn’t lasting long at that place. So hopefully they get a fat check, because you’ll need to save some for moving expenses again in the next year or two.

I can tell you from what I’ve gleened from the families that I’ve interacted with that went, it was a pretty consistent either non answer and/or diversion. How they say hindsight is 20/20? It becomes clearer and clearer that they were instructed on how to go through this.

It is not supposed to be that easy. That picture hanging there would have to be evaluated by Deloitte to determine if $1M is the FMV to that company - which I would guess it is not.
Now - I do not believe for one second that this process will work and prevent outright pay for pay.

Yeah, it can take a minute to get your **** together when a huge change comes your way. The difference is that most of us don't have to be in the public eye while doing it.

I mean, come on. I get it. It was a shock. Mouser and that group comes out smelling like a rose. It was as if someone died. They are literally a 3 hour plane ride away. Although Happy Valley is a pain in the rear to get to. It’s really time, as leader of the site, to move past this. It’s not going to come back as it was.
