Fizer wasn’t a 5 thoSure, I’d agree Buchanan is the biggest surprise.
But as far as the original question of who is he the best 5 since, he isn’t better than Fizer.

He even got a assist tonight, that was good to see.Loved seeing him come off the bench to step up and knock down big shots when we were struggling.
His combination of offensive aggression and efficiency is rare. He definitely passes the vibe check.
He was taken 15th overall which isn’t too shabby. Had a solid 10 year NBA careerCato had all the tools in the world to be a high first rounder. Coasted on his length.
Fizer was one of those AAA guys. Great college. Too small to play NbA forward. Should have stayed another year.
Well we all know Stirtz is waaay better And is a top draft choice over Mommy!I can’t figure out why he’s not mocked as a top 20 pick
Toure struggling a little bit offensively right now. His defense is so good. I think he will get his offense figured out.
Cato got a 42 million contract extension. Granted most people thought it was a joke and he was routinely at the top of the most overpayed players list, but he still got his bag.He was taken 15th overall which isn’t too shabby. Had a solid 10 year NBA career

You are correct. People comparing him to shooters from ISU in the past don’t realize how insane 56% shooting is. It would shatter our school record and literally be an all time season since they started keeping track of this.Assuming he keeps up the same shots-per-game, and excluding an unknown number of post-season games, Milan would break the season record on 3P% if he shoots only 38.3% from here out.
56.3% on 7.4 attempts per game is quite the heater!

I don't think our coaches or players care whether he scores at all, but when other teams start thinking he's not an offensive threat, he'll have some big games offensively. In addition to his defense, his ball handling and role in facilitating the offense indicate he'll be a heck of a point guard.I think that's how high his value is and imo it's good he had a game like that this early in the conference season to work though.
I think his athleticism is improving. I think he's a lock to have a great pro career in Europe if not in the NBA.His lack of athleticism as a wing in the NBA makes him more limited both offensively and defensively which will hurt his draft stock to some degree.
He is definitely much stronger than he was as a freshman and his defense has improved. SF position in the league is often one of the more athletic and that’s going to be the knock on him.I think his athleticism is improving. Just a couple years ago I would have expected Milan to be off to the NBA after this season (if he continues anywhere close to this pace). But now, in the new reality of college athletics, if he's not a lottery pick (and I don't think he will be), staying in college might be a more lucrative option. Of course that brings the concern of whether ISU will be able to afford him. What Milan is doing is historical, but catch and shoot from 3 alone may not get you near the lottery - especially with many projecting this years draft class to be unusually loaded deep. His lack of athleticism as a wing in the NBA makes him more limited both offensively and defensively which will hurt his draft stock to some degree.
Stirtz and Milan are not really apples to apples comparison. It’s really hard to say one is better than the other because their role on the floor is entirely different.
