Me too. Williams and Blum made it seem like everything was all worked out behind the scenes and the staff and players were just waiting for the portal to open to make things official. I guess the rules change every year so no one really knows what is going on.

Hansen is a good back, but he’s not the dude who just left for the nfl. Allen was electric and will play on Sundays. More than 4,000 career rushing yards. That’s what PSU fans are used to.

Yep. But people want different things.
1. Some are driven to climb the corporate/coaching ladder bc they want the most resources, prestige or chance to win a NC.
2. Some try to climb the corporate/coaching ladder bc they think that’s what they’re supposed to do.
3. Some find a place where they feel comfortable and stay a very long time.
None is right or wrong as long as they chose the right path for them. But I see so many that could have had #3, but choose #2 for the wrong reason. They usually fail.
He runs as hard as any RB I’ve ever seen. That will get him beat up in the B10 too.

The players view it as a bidding war and are all overpriced. With a day or two left things will really pick up and prices will plummet.

I do think he’s a lower level back than they’re used to. They have the no. 1 RB prospect in the draft this year, Saquon Barkley, Larry Johnson, Kijana Carter, etc.
Hansen isn’t at that caliber, but he’s still pretty good if they temper their expectations.
I'm right there with ya, Chris even put out this tweet saying he wouldn't be surprised if there's a fair amount of commits by the end of the day today, well it's starting to get towards the end of the day.
He’s a grinder and not a game breaker, but conceivably, he’ll have a better Oline there than here. On paper anyway.
