He had all the leverage, there is no way he didn’t agree to this if he didn’t like it. That’s just not how this works. PSU was on their 5th or 6th choice there is no way they are giving this on cmc or him accepting it. It’s a recipe for disaster
Why wouldn't he keep him? He seems like a good coach and it would help retain a lot of players. He's not going to be the DC, so you just have to find a place for him.

No I just wanted to read it. I like looking at the sources. Not calling you a liar at all but in this day and age with any type of reporting you have to check.

Think of all the posts people have put on here that have been from spoof accounts or just fake accounts that look legit.

Totally believe you saw it, just don’t believe that it’s accurate
Why are you on this website?

My news feeds only come from sources I trust. However, with AI generating sports content now, it’s more important than ever to be discerning.

They also laid out $70M guaranteed and a $30M NIL budget. You're just being obstinate if you think there weren't some demands on that side of the table.
I’m not obstinate, obtuse or oblique. And I’m sure Matt said “yes” for all the reasons mentioned. Whether that would have been his first choice or not is what I’m musing on a cold, December night.

I think I made the case on why such a situation could be challenging. I’m not saying it will be.

Message Board is a little edgy tonight.

I understand not being loyal to Matt Campbell, etc because he did leave. I don't understand why there's a narrative being created that he did it for money, venom against JP, etc. Can we not look at the basic facts and accept them? It's a better program that has a higher ceiling but more importantly, he gets to be closer to his mom while she goes through cancer and near his daughter going to college. We don't have to be loyal but we don't have to make him a villain either and speculate beyond what the actual facts are.
