Assistant Coaches

They were 58th (PBLK)/42nd (RBLK) in 2024 & 63rd/62nd in 2023.

Jackson Arnold appears to be a portion of 2025's problems, time to throw was decent at 2.84 seconds (8th in SEC) and average TTT on sacks was 3.75 seconds. He has a comparable TTT as most NCAA QBs.
Missed the Ole Miss call out @HarryClone.

Ole Miss was #39 (Pass) / #69 (Run) in 2021 & #68 (Pass) / #87 (Run).

Kind of wonder what we will see out of him in the Big 12.

You don’t know he is a downgrade. We will find out with time. An assistant coach that spent time at both Ole Miss and Auburn is probably going to know what he is doing.
Plus he was a grad assistant at Bama in 17.

"After that, he made his way to Tuscaloosa where he was an offensive line graduate assistant on the National Championship staff at the University of Alabama in 2017. That offensive line featured NFL Draft picks Jonah Williams (1st round, 2019), Ross Pierschbacher (5th round, 2019) and second-team All-SEC selection Bradley Bozeman (2017).
In an interview, Thornton had this to say about his time spent under Nick Saban:
“I learned what being attentive to details means...I learned to watch different things and how to coach players and how to win by being around those guys. Coach Saban taught me a lot of lessons and how to handle different things. It was a very fantastic experience for me, especially being a younger guy, and I have been honored to be a part of his staff for the time I was.”

Hopefully we don't have 3-4 S&C coaches in a span of 10yrs. again. Build some consistency with S&C coaches that it means something to them to be in Ames and put on the colors!! That's how ISU Football gets to the next level!

I’m saying he becomes and analyst. I just hope he’s not helping Campbell pull kids to PSU while he’s still here.
Probably a reason he’s still in AMES…. Keep an eye on players Campbell is going to be taking with him

I'm sure the Stark Performance Center is a draw for an alum like Campbell. Looking forward to seeing what he can do with the guys.
