So Yormark doesn't want Notre Dame to even consider the Big 12?
I was thinking this as well. Yormark should have stayed silent on this one.
Unless he knows they’d never come here, in which case pushing them to a conference could hasten the demise of the ACC leaving the big 12 as the last conference standing.
If you think ND would consider coming to the B12 you are the ones still holding out hope that the B10 will come calling.

Dunno, it might help sour the goodwill ND has left. They swung their dicks a bit too much and many are walking away. They may have to swallow their pride and come to the table like everyone else.

Next season, ND would be guaranteed a spot in the playoff if the rankings matched this years.
Media, committee and scraps of the broken ACC…or if they come to their senses the entire ACC to realize the Big 12 is their ally and the other two are their predator.
It'd be kinda cool to get ND into the Big 12 and have an annual Crusade Tournament between ND, BYU, Baylor, TCU. We'd probably need to get SMU to cover the Methodists as well. We don't want Liberty though.

In the end, this only affects if they land in the 11th or 12th spot most years. But I’d love if the committee were to just simply move them to 13 if they were in this situation next year. Cause the games on the field have to matter.

A tidal wave would have to wipe out everything east of the Mississippi, including South Bend, for ND to consider the B12
He knows that ND will never consider the Big 12, so take the high ground, open up with all guns blazing and get some free press.
