I could have used at least 100 more, "yeah you know"'s... but it was ok.

When answering @ChrisMWilliams question about schemes, he spoke to the defense. Not much was said about offense. What kinda offense should we expect ?
I just legit lol’d and I’m not even sure what that meansI hope he's the kind of guy who whips it at the closest wall whenever he's done with it.
In order for a coach to leave, other opportunities have to come open and our coach has to be good enough to want to be hired. There are lots of big time programs who have made hires this off season. I'm not saying it's impossible he'll ever leave for another opportunity but if all the other major programs are clicking, then there's not really going to be an opportunity to leave.Rogers talking about staying in Ames when he is on his 3rd team in a year?? remember as @ChrisMWilliams has said, COACHES ARE LIARS
I would go so far as to say that MC's coaching ability was pretty average most of the time and most of his success here was due to being above average at exploiting a niche in player evaluation.I like CMC’s program and I like that he churned out nfl players like never before but listening to a coach interview can only get better.
Just watch fb on Sundays lately. There’s no way previous staff was that good at developing, they evaluated some 5* talents better than lazy blue bloods did.
McDonald, Breece, Higgins etc would’ve still made nfl at big money cfb programs. Purdy might have been exact same player but drafted 1st round. I’m sure they developed those guys well but more of it is in finding them.
What attitude plays well when you are unsuccessful?FWIW, his attitude will NOT play well if he isn't successful.
Sounds a like a football version of TJ's first team. Just assembled a collection of guys who fit his attitude and what he wanted to do so well that it worked. As many players they had to replace, they probably just didn’t have the personnel. It’s shocking he was able to go 6-6 given the circumstances.
I know the roster will most likely be overhauled but if we can get a DL to actually get pressure in the future, that will be exciting for me4 man front. Needs more defensive linemen. Needs to balance the roster to reflect that.
Yes, he planned to do that.
That doesn't cement someone anywhere.
Anyone can be as loyal as their options.
yep not the first time he is gonna cry in front of the press, did it a bunch at his last stops
Could be a combo of an entirely new roster playing its first season together....and there's probably going to be growing pains next season but if we can get an established roster with some experience in the coming years, there could be some promiseMatches the results at WSU last season -- their defense wasn't bad, pretty good even. Their offense...definitely not good.
I would have loved Johnny Orr even if he had back-to-back 2 win seasons.Pretty much all attitudes don't play very well if you're a D1 coach that isn't successful. It pisses fans off one way or another
I cringe to say this. I’m guessing a little bit of what Iowas does (just threw up in my mouth since I had to say them). Run heavy, play action but more out of the spread. When answering @ChrisMWilliams question about schemes, he spoke to the defense. Not much was said about offense. What kinda offense should we expect ?
Generally you hire an OC that is aligned with your vision for the offense. You don’t hire a run and shoot style OC if you want to power I it.Isn’t that going to be heavily influenced by who is hired for OC? I prefer for the HC with a defensive background to not decide how the offense is going to look. Hire the right guy and let them run their offense.
