*** Official #10 IOWA STATE vs #1 Purdue Game(Day) Thread ***

It's been said a billion times, but we have to make sure we never lose TJ. We aren't hiring another coach who can go to the number 1 team in the country and lead by nearly 30 at one point. Those coaches don't exist.
Me knowing I have a re-watch tomorrow.

There's a good chance we are one of the last undefeated teams along with Arizona, Michigan, and Duke.

I dont think Vandy, Nebraska, or Oklahoma State, or LSU will last much longer as their schedules ramp up soon.

Arizona has Auburn and Alabama back to back so I think at least one of them picks them off. That leaves Michigan and Duke.

I think its a real possibility we don't pick up our first loss until 1-7 @ Baylor or 1-14 @KU.

The wildcard in all this is Miami(Ohio), sitting at 9-0 right now playing a bunch of teams i have no idea if they are better than.

Seems like good assessment.

Miami-OH could stay unblemished, but a string of road games and going unscathed could be iffy, even if it is better than some or most.

Lipsey looked good today. If he has any lingering effects with the groin, it wasn't obvious to me. Hope he stays healthy the rest of the year.
Are you gonna wear his high school jersey every game now? Kinda got to don't ya?

I would hate to seed Arizona if they finish this insane non conf undefeated bashing countless ranked teams from other conferences then somehow finish 4th or 5th in Big 12. They almost have to be a 1 seed if the stuff the committee has always said about non conf is true.
