I hope its not lost in all of this is the amazing work Campbells assistants have done over the years.

Heacock is a ******* legend, best assistant we've ever had by a mile.

Rasheed always did a good job with the D-line

Poteat was a miracle worker with the corners

Broomfield a stud with the safeties and going to be a star in the coaching world

Clanton gave us what we all were clamoring for, a good oline

Pauley seemed to be a great developer with WR's

I know I'm missing some, but these guys deserve as much kudos as Campbell.

Heacock is the GOAT of ISU defensive coordinators. Wally Burnham was a wizard at times, but was always bend, don't break that still at times when overmatched...would break.

Heacock kept ISU in so many games and away from blowouts when the offense wasn't firing on all cylinders that day. Just incredible DC and human being.

Don't know anything about Rogers but as young as he is, it stands to reason he's less attached to a group of assistants and might be more likely than a longer-established guy to keep some of Campbell's assistants around. His prerogative, obviously.

It’d be nice to keep Clanton and Broomfield, but you also have to give the new coach latitude to build his own staff. I don’t really have any expectations that we’ll keep Campbell’s guys.

I'd add Hank Poteat as another I'd love to see stay, but he is an east coast guy originally I believe (Philly).

Part of me hopes we can keep some of these guys around but I know that’s just not happening
I would venture to guess Campbell will take all the big names with him - Rasheed, Poteat, Clanton, Mouser, Broomfield. Broomfield is the only one I could maybe see staying solely because of his Iowa State ties.

Hoping Heacock stays at Iowa state to fulfill his bridge coordinator role to the next man up. Not that I am always crazy about three down linemen but for the sake of keeping something Campbell here during this transition

If there was one coach I’d like to keep it is Clanton but I can see Matt prioritizing him.
I’d love Heacock back, but he’s likely heading to PSU or will just retire. He is such a wizard of a DC. The way he kept us competitive after losing our two starting CBs I’ll never forget

Clanton, Broomfield and Poteat are my cleat favorite position coaches to stay. Sounds like Rogers struggles on the offense side. Hoping Mouse stays and continues to build what he has started.

Will Jake Waters go back to Manhattan?

I assume he retires. But if we keep Broomfield, maybe he’d still mentor him through the transition?

Penn state keeping current qb and dline coaches according to their site.
And whatever Terry Smith ends up being. He was the CB coach with Franklin, but I imagine he will be elevated to DC.

I'm conflicted. I'd like Heacock back, but I really want to be done with the 3-3-5. Maybe it was just a necessity with all the injuries.
