Matt Campbell to Penn State??

Hearing he will still coach us in a bowl game. Not sure how I feel about that
Not a fan of him coaching us in the bowl game, if he is taking the PSU job, he is dead to ISU football, let one of the asst. coaches handle the game and Campbell can move on. They only signed a couple players on Wednesday, pretty sure Campbell will be hitting to portal hard looking for players for his next job and would even be interested in coaching at ISU in a bowl game.

Bet you’re happy he’s gone.
No.

Circumstances change.

He has really impressed me with what he did the last two years in the new NCAA Football landscape.

He made and kept ISU very competitive with fewer resources than most of our opponents.

His players weren't thugs, and represented the school and us, the fans, well.

He developed Iowa kids, especially the overlooked small town ones, into legitimate D1 players.

While not perfect, CMC had become much more valuable to me as a known commodity than some unknown alternative.

Would I like a higher ceiling? Sure. But man, he sure raised the floor.

We watched the Ohio game.

We've seen the lack of urgency in far too many late half/game situations.

His teams usually falter when the pressure is highest.

At best, he'll match Franklin's success.

And as we have seen, that is no longer good enough at Penn State.
Hes never coached the type of talent he's going to there. I wouldn't just assume his teams will look and play like they do at ISU.

Or actual talent won't respond to his stuff. Coaches as good as him have failed at big schools.

You posting history says otherwise
