Matt Campbell to Penn State??

Come on, let it go.

The Penn State scandal was so many years ago that if it was a child Sandusky would barely be interested in raping him.

Recently named a street after Starocci. The culture is alive and well.

Says who? I don't really understand the thought that we're now guaranteed to fail. Likely next year depending who leaves with him, but why the hell can't the next coach succeed (& maybe even get to the next level)? I get acting defeatist is kind of a Cyclone thing, but this isn't the 80's anymore. Thanks to this man, ISU football isn't a nobody.

I'm choosing to remain optimistic.
CMC had a detailed plan for success when he arrived that JP bought into and helped make happen. This can happen again. We have criticisms of Pollard but he knows what makes a successful program tick. I trust him.

Being completely honest, the perception of the coach who leaves is often driven by if the team can find success again in the near-medium term. Fred is looked back fondly for many reasons, but also helps that TJ followed Prohm and elevated us a step beyond where Fred had us, so it's not as if we'd want to do a swap now.

Fred had a TON of things going for him...one of them being the stagnant state of ISU MBB when he took the job. In addition to the obvious stuff!

Prohm and Rhoads trust?

Or

Otzelberger and Campbell trust?
