You're making my right eye twitch...Their all loosers
If the show fits, where it.You talking about my old girlfriends?
It's not just the youth. It's maybe the most common misspelling I see from people of all agesHow on earth do people keep messing this up? And it's very common amongst today's youth....like they genuinely don't know how to use the word "lose".
Take away the horrible start to Cincinnati and we probably don't lose that one or the Colorado game. Momentum is a *****That's the one that really just irritates a guy. Colorado is horrible.
If the Liberty Bowl didn't learn from their mistake the last time they chose us, when literally no one went, then I'm not sure if they have brains. If they choose Iowa State again, the only people going will be the team, band, and spirit squads.Blum said last night if it comes down to Liberty and Rate, Iowa State would prefer to “drop down” to the Rate. I’m inferring that they’re being open about that behind the scenes. Of course, it’s still up to the bowl boards. Could Iowa State get a better invite than either of those, I suppose, but I don’t see it happening.
As an aside, while bowl projections are all guesses, I think the fact that no outlet or reporter has Iowa State playing Nebraska does mean it’s unlikely. Apparently I’m in the minority here but I wouldn’t want to anyway
Texas could land there.Texas bowl almost always takes a Texas school and A&M is not playing in it. Iowa state isn’t really eligible for the Texas Bowl.
Reviving old rivalries that died at the hands of conference realignment would be wise for the non-CFP bowls. Great way to drum up engagement from both fanbasesboo give us nebraska
We played in bowl games in the 1970s.Can someone explain this thought process to me? We didnt play in our first bowl until 2000, and now we can be picky choosy?
@Nor'MidWester not sure if youre joking or not, but ive heard this same sentiment from others, and it confuses the hell out of me
Wonder anymore how much weight they put on the teams fans showing up vs. what type of TV draw/rating will that team bring? Feels like for these bowl games the tv rating is getting more and more important. If the Liberty Bowl didn't learn from their mistake the last time they chose us, when literally no one went, then I'm not sure if they have brains. Depends on the Bowl.Wonder anymore how much weight they put on the teams fans showing up vs. what type of TV draw/rating will that team bring? Feels like for these bowl games the tv rating is getting more and more important.
well if they truly factored that in, then Memphis would not have been picked to play us two years ago....an SEC fan base is always going to outdraw Memphis when ratings are consideredWonder anymore how much weight they put on the teams fans showing up vs. what type of TV draw/rating will that team bring? Not sure how much weight what Iowa State wants matters.Blum said last night if it comes down to Liberty and Rate, Iowa State would prefer to “drop down” to the Rate. AGAIN!!!The only bowl game I would not watch would be ISU vs. Memphis in the Liberty Bowl. Frankly, there should be a ban against teams playing in their home stadium for a bowl game.
