A sideline argument? This is mild behavior for Baylor. Usually they're murdering their teammates or covering up campus rapes.Baylor... if you could pipe down a bit on always having some drama you suck the conference into that'd be GREEEAAATTT.
Over a stupid thing too:A sideline argument? This is mild behavior for Baylor. Usually they're murdering their teammates or covering up campus rapes.
Awful. No student athlete should ever have to put up with that nonsense.Over a stupid thing too:
"According to the source, during the first quarter, Rhoades grabbed Trigg by the shirt on the sideline and, while using an expletive, questioned why he was wearing it. The rest of the team was wearing dark-colored undershirts.
Members of the coaching staff, including head coach Dave Aranda and tight ends coach Jarrett Anderson, later had heated words with Rhoades about the incident, the source said. The incident had a lingering impact on Trigg that day, according to the source.
“Trigg got rattled,” the source said. “It kind of (messed) him up.”

Too much money involved nowAs an AD, why are you on the sidelines, and why are you saying anything other than "good job" to a player?
There are other avenues for micromanaging, like bothering the coaches with an email and appearance later.
gotta draw a line somewhere i supposeS.A. and murder are one thing, but to wear a long sleeved shirt under your uniform...that's unacceptable.
wildI found the post about him on reddit:
He started out very formal and clean-cut all the time, then kind of suddenly had this swift and sudden midlife crisis vibe shift when Baylor won the Sugar Bowl and MBB national title in 2021, and he came out the other side with a strong divorced dad look. He did just finally get rid of the goatee when they named him CFP chair this year, so now he still looks like your fun, older uncle.
wild turkey probablywild
This is where my mind is. Rhoades has always been HIGHLY respected as being both strategically smart as well as being good with boosters. Interviews I have heard with him, he seemed pretty sharp (unlike most ADs).Hope he gets the help he needs. There is usually an underlying cause that leads to anger like this. But understanding the root cause and how to handle it can be quite tricky.
